Background

The Director was involved in his first renewables project (1993) in the Republic of Belarus following the socio-economic impact of the catastrophe of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster just across the border in Ukraine. It was important that as a newly independent state, Belarus could become more sustainable and less energy dependent on its larger oil & gas resourced neighbour.

In the 2000's the Director became a Main Contractor managing and winning building and refurbishment of mainly rural Estates, historic house restoration as well as new build developments.  His firm engaged highly skilled and adaptable tradesmen and women.  The focus has always been on improving energy efficiency and for space heating being less reliant on fossil fuels by using more sustainable materials and appropriate equipment in the retrofits.

Now the revolutionary 2020's era of rapid decarbonisation of the world economy is here.  Urgent climate target legislation has seen the business focus and prioritize on e-mobility and selling and installing  EV charge point forecourts to keep up with the growing demand. This rapid growth opportunity could transform HEATPOINT's green business dynamically and greatly benefit clients, their drivers, partners and its employees.
